Here are some things to know about me:

I write provocative little essays about cinema.
Sometimes I try to change your mind about something. Other times, I try to change my own.
I may write about something you already know but have struggled to articulate. I like it when people say this.
I try to read a book for every couple of essays. So, if you subscribe, you’ll eventually get familiar with hundreds of different books spanning film art, craft, history, and more. That’s pretty cool.
I try to publish every other Tuesday. Occasionally, I fail. Sorry about that.
I can get quite nerdy and earnest. Sorry about that, too.
